About the show at Tilthams Farm

For the last 7 years, this working farm, 16th Century barn and stable yard has become one of the most innovative exhibition work spaces in Surrey.

After much sweeping and hoovering to remove the last stalk of straw and cobweb, this enchanting space that is Tilthams Farm, is prepared ready for an opening night of wine and homemade canapés to welcome our guests to enjoy both this unusual space and artwork, varying in sculpture, to oil media, that every year attracts more new visitors.

FARM

Caroline Jackman, the founder of this event, explores new angles every year to improve on the last, and she has not yet failed her demanding visitors. Her invited artists find new ways to display their work, whether dealing with beams in a 16th century barn or feed troughs in a horses stable, the results are inspiring and never disappointing.

Sadly to say, due to Caroline’s future work commitments this will be the final Mixed Spring Exhibition at Tilthams Farm. Caroline wants this show to be a memorable and significant exhibition, so take the opportunity to view these wonderful artworks in an amazing and innovative space.
