Statement

Working with the human figure has been a constant source of inspiration ever since my early life drawing sessions at Art College. The fascination with the human figure has stayed with me and its form, structure and movement remains central to my work. The paintings usually consist of a single figure. These figures are stripped of any narrative references giving them an ambiguity and tension which I like.
